Nestled beside the Monongahela National Forest, Camp Caesar, also known as Webster County 4-H Camp,  has created generations of memories for youth and adults alike.  It's beginning started in 1922 by local members of the Farm Bureau and the Webster County extension agent, Julius A. Wolfram.  The octagonal assembly hall that is now known as Gregory Hall, a Council Circle, a Dining Hall and a home for the camp caretaker were constructed in the 1920's.
Receiving WV Historical District status in 2009 the Camp remains a testament to the craftsmanship of the Greatest Generation Ever.

During the Great Depression, the Works Progress Administration built several stone cottages, a pool and pool house, dining hall expansion, stone walks, retaining walls and other features. Most of these facilities remain used today for our guests to enjoy.

Over the years, Camp Caesar has seen expansion and renovation.  As we move forward the infrastructure may change but the atmosphere will not.  Camp Caesar will always be your home away from home.
